Updates on House for Sale

I cannot believe all that has transpired in the world around us since I last posted on this blog. In July 2010 Random Arts had already closed it's doors on Main Street in Saluda and I was beginning to feel "homeless" in the mixed media art community. By the time December rolled around both of us were getting anxious for Random Arts to move out of the temporary building and into a place of it's own.

Thanks to a good friend of ours, who happened to stop by in December 2010 to have some custom work done for his business, a spark was ignited. So the journey began right then and there.

By June of 2011 that property, first researched and seen that past December became the new home for Random Arts. Not quite ready to be open, our long days of nothing but painting and construction began. By Sept, Random ARTs was ready to move into it's new nest. With that being said, I forgot to mention that the building was/is an old 1920's house in a commercial location in Saluda. We both passed by this house at least 6 times a day for 17 years and never, ever thought it could be, or would be ours.

What does all this have to do with our house, that we have lived in for 18 yrs?
It's simple. The Random Arts property has private living quarters in the back that was a great new addition put on in 2001. Only 10 yrs old and perfect for us to downsize and "live, work and play" in Saluda.

That means that it's time to look seriously to sell our precious little craftsman style bungalow located just 1 mile from town. Since the market has changed significantly in the past 2 years we are looking for offers to help make our dream house become yours.
I would be happy to answer any questions about our house and right now with spring settling in nicely, this is the best time of year to come see why Saluda beckons you to come north and enjoy our little town.
